Fancy a unique dining experience in the heart of the Ballarine region ? My husband and I boarded the Q- train to celebrate a milestone wedding anniversary.
The food was amazing with all courses carefully prepared using locally grown produce , and matched with local wines - or mocktails for those preferring non alcoholic options .
My absolute favourite dish was the arancini balls followed by the poached pears . The menu changes seasonally so I can’t wait to see what is on offer next month .
The train cruises along at a gentle pace from Drysdale to Queenscliff then return , stopping along the way to allow guests to stretch their legs and take a toilet break .
The entire experience takes about 3 hours
We paid extra to have our own first class dining experience which was well worth the experience . Staff were very friendly and attentive and had good knowledge of the wines and foods on offer .
Having experienced the Q- Train premium dining package I would highly recommend it to others .
Arlie Vista is ideally located to accommodate guests and only 20 minutes from Drysdale ( departure point)
